KI is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team! This Staff Accountant position reports to our VP of Finance. This position supports the ongoing administration, reporting, compliance, and process improvement activities associated with payroll and benefits at KI.


Responsibilities



  • Support internal and external audit requests through documentation, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Support the annual budget and forecasting processes through data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with business partners.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential financial, business, and employee information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Finance department operations.
  • Perform other accounting, reporting, and analytical duties as assigned by the VP of Finance.


What You Need to Succeed



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel), accounting software (MRP/ERP), query and data analysis tools (Showcase).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills.
  • Highly motivated and has a strong attention to detail.
