Description Position Title: Parts Delivery Driver Reporting to: Parts Manager Department: Parts Central Power Systems & Services is a privately held company with deep roots going back to 1954.Our Mission Statement isforging long-lasting partnerships by providing first-class customer support. We live that statement every single day. We are looking for a Parts Delivery Driver to help support that mission. JOB SUMMARY The Parts Delivery Driver reports to the Parts Manager and is charged with the responsibility of selling parts. This job function is responsible for assisting in the determination of parts requirements with customers, selling parts and providing order processing services. RESPONSIBILITIES SHIPPING/RECEIVING Order Picking, Packing and Shipping Delivering trucks to customers Picks up, delivers, or routes items and correspondence to the appropriate personnel in any of the Central Power facilities Physical Inventory Counts Stock Order Receiving CUSTOMER SERVICE Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers Support internal customers (employees' and service department) by providing effective verbal and written communication when needed Help with answering phones for parts department and returning calls to customers PARTS Service department - shop and field - parts sales, order processing Warehousing functions - picking, packing and shipping Delivery and pickup of parts to service mechanics and customers Customer parts sales Great Benefits Highly Competitive Pay Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance 401k with company match Paid Time Off Paid Certification Training Opportunity for advancement Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Technical education in Automotive, Diesel or related field preferred Experience working in a diesel shop and/or parts store a plus Prior sales experience preferred Class B Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record Excellent verbal and written communication Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite WORK CONDITIONS Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
