RTE - Temp Check - 2nd Shift

Position: Temp Check

Job Summary:

In a fast-paced production, team environment, the Temp Check is always maintaining a safe environment - compliant with all company standards. The Temp Check position is responsible for gathering product temperatures at required intervals and documenting on area paperwork. This position requires 100% standing in both cold and hot environments.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Maintain proper meat quality
2. Maintain pace with line speed
3. Other duties as assigned

Required knowledge and experience:

• No previous experience required
• Must be a team player
• Must be safety, quality, and efficiency minded

Physical Requirements

• Computer usage
• Interaction with some chemicals
• Documenting information
• Read/use measuring device
• Exposure to cold (< 40 degrees)
• Light lifting (0-10 lbs.)
• Reaching
• Prolonged standing for consecutive hours
