Transportation Equipment Scheduler

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field; equivalent combination of education, vocational training, and relevant work experience will be considered.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in transportation scheduling, logistics coordination, fleet management, supply chain operations, or equipment dispatching.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and operational planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and other business software applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coordinating equipment transportation across multiple locations, regions, or facilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cycle count processes, and equipment tracking systems.
• Familiarity with cross-border shipping documentation, customs requirements, purchase orders, invoicing, and cost allocation processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to support cross-functional teams.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Capable of reviewing detailed transportation, inventory, and operational data with accuracy.
• May occasionally move throughout office, warehouse, or equipment yard environments.

Job Duties

• Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules for rental and company-owned equipment.
• Create cost-effective transportation plans while optimizing fleet and equipment movements between branches, depots, and regions.
• Order vehicles for equipment delivery and pickup as required.
• Schedule and monitor weekly inventory cycle counts for equipment and ancillary assets, including cable, duct, hose, and circuit breakers.
• Support equipment, fuel, and rehire coordination activities across the organization.
• Arrange intercompany equipment transfers and ensure all required transportation, customs, and cross-border documentation is completed accurately.
• Process purchase orders, invoicing, and cost reallocations related to equipment transportation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and provide exceptional customer and internal operational support as a Transport Scheduler.
