Now Hiring: Prototype Build Engineer Location: Auburn Hills, MI Pay Rate: $35.01/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day; occasional overtime Turn engineering concepts into real-world prototypes. We're hiring a Prototype Build Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI, to coordinate physical mock-up and prototype builds that help bridge the gap between product design and production. Job Duties Coordinate prototype and physical mock-up builds from scope through delivery. Partner with Shop Technicians, CAD Designers, Release Engineers, and product development teams. Support builds involving under-hood, underbody, wind-tunnel, and occupant packaging applications. Coordinate projects used for real-world validation and design evaluation. Help assess component placement, ergonomics, packaging, and serviceability. Maintain communication across engineering and design teams throughout each build. Qualifications Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to coordinate technical engineering projects across multiple teams. Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills. Ability to work occasional overtime as needed.
