Now Hiring a R&D Technician (Medical Device Prototyping) Pay Rate: Up to $48.00/hour Schedule: 1st Shift Innovate the Future of Medical Devices Are you an experienced R&D Technician with a passion for hands-on prototyping and product development? Join a cutting-edge research and development team supporting the creation, testing, and validation of advanced catheter-based medical devices. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment. Job Duties Build, modify, troubleshoot, and refine catheter-based prototypes Conduct mechanical, dimensional, functional, and performance testing Support design verification, test method validation, and process validation activities Assist with prototype assembly processes including bonding, welding, crimping, coating, and balloon processing Analyze test results and provide technical feedback to engineering teams Support equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and laboratory operations Participate in process improvements, tooling development, and engineering change activities Maintain compliance with quality system requirements and documentation standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 6+ years of medical device, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing experience Experience with catheter manufacturing or balloon catheter construction Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a prototype development environment Microscope experience preferred Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Program Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance Apply Now Ready to use your technical expertise to help develop life-changing medical technologies?
