Business Analyst With Global Markets Domain Experience

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with proven experience in the Global Markets domain to support development teams in delivering high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trading systems and business workflows, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work closely with both business and technical teams. This position requires strong analytical thinking, documentation skills, and a proactive approach to managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Domain Expertise:

* Solid understanding of equity trading and experience with equity swaps.

* Prior experience working with Global Market domain projects is required.

Technical Skills:

* Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

* Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

* Proficiency with tools like JIRA and Confluence for documentation and tracking.

Core Functional Skills:

* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to convey complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

* Comfortable interacting with stakeholders across business, operations, and development teams.

* Capable of managing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements.

* Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.

* Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional specifications and user stories.

* Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business goals.

* Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies as needed.

* Track project progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.

* Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.

* Provide end-to-end visibility into the delivery of solutions, ensuring business value is realized.

Salary Range: $100,000 - 115,000 a year
