RN Clinic - Chest Medicine - Anderson Medical Pavilion (La Jolla)

This is a benefited, full time position working 8-hr day shifts typically from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Located at Scripps Anderson Medical Pavilion on the Scripps Memorial Campus in La Jolla.

As the Clinical RN for Chest Medicine, your duties will include:

• ~70% administrative work and ~30% patient facing.
• In-basket management.
• Assisting with pulmonary procedures such as thoracentesis and catheter placements.
• Performing patient assessments, care tasks, and medication administration as appropriate.
• Educate patients and document patient interactions while practicing infection control.
• Contributing to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within your own scope of practice.

Required Qualifications:

• CA RN license
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• ADN or Nursing Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years outpatient RN experience
• 1-2 years RN experience
