Construction Foreman- Underground Utilities

Employment: Full Time | Direct Hire

Location: Winchester - (Various Job Sites in SoCal)

Pay Range: $40-$45 per hour (DOE)

BBSI is partnering with a growing Southern California underground utility contractor specializing in wet and dry utility installations for commercial and public works projects. We're seeking a hands-on Working Foreman who can lead crews, operate equipment, and keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What You'll Do

• Lead and work alongside crews installing wet utilities (water, sewer, storm drain) and dry utilities (electrical, gas, telecom).
• Read blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
• Operate excavators, loaders, trenchers, and other heavy equipment.
• Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and maintain project schedules.
• Ensure jobsite safety, quality workmanship, and compliance.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and field teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 3+ years of underground utility construction experience.
• Previous Foreman or crew leadership experience.
• Experience working on commercial and public works projects.
• Familiarity with both wet and dry utility installations.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and trenching/excavation procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
