Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $20.50 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; 3:30pm-11:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in Oak Creek, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of electronic components, and the ability to follow technical instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up, operate, and shut down wave solder machines and related equipment, including Q-cutters, aqueous cleaners, solder fountains, and spray fluxers. - Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of production equipment. - Properly mix, handle, and dispose of flux, thinner, and other production materials. - Inspect, repair, and rework circuit boards to meet customer quality standards. - Identify electronic components, resistor color codes, and wiring colors. - Read and follow electronic assembly instructions, technical drawings, and production procedures. - Monitor production output, maintain accurate records, and complete required documentation. - Apply statistical process control techniques to maintain product quality. - Communicate equipment, material, and production concerns to the Team Lead. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. - Assist with additional production tasks as assigned. Machine Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Basic knowledge of electronic components and assembly processes. - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment. - Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions. - Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. - Ability to frequently push, pull, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 60 lbs. - Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle electronic components with precision.
