Description

Responsible for organizing and coordinating the development, submission, and follow-up of clinical research project applications, including contracts and budgets, for the St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare Research program. Also provides support for the daily administrative operations which includes direct communication and coordination with health system, SJHH ministries, clinical research sponsors, physician investigators, clinical research nurse coordinators, and regulatory staff ensuring timely and accurate submission of Feasibility Assessment documentation for new studies, development of clinical research tracking files, maintaining administrative information databases; preparing metric reports and meeting coordination. Works independently and provides backup coverage for other administrative areas in the department as needed.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree From an accredited college or University, preferably in Business or Research. Or equivalent educ/experience.
  • 2 years Experience in medical or research administration.
  • Experience in carrying out administrative duties independently and accurately with attention to detail and prioritization.
  • Experienced in the use of MS Office software to include word processing and spreadsheet presentation.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2 years Working experience in research or sponsored projects administration.
  • 2 years Working experience with contract and grant/budget development related to research.
