Now Hiring: Technical Support Specialist - SEIS Program

Statewide (based in Massachusetts) | Full-time | 12-month Contract | Travel Required

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team supporting educators in the SEIS (Special Education in Institutional Settings) program. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of technology in classrooms across the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware and software support to SEIS educators
  • Troubleshoot network, system, and application issues across multiple platforms (Windows, MacOS, Chrome OS, Linux)
  • Deliver timely support via in-person visits, phone, email, and remote tools
  • Collaborate with CES tech staff and SEIS personnel statewide
  • Manage and maintain technology inventory and deployments
  • Create user documentation and provide basic training as needed
  • Assist with curriculum technology integration and account setup

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related certifications/experience
  • At least 1 year of technical support experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Google Workspace, MDM, and RDP
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in diverse environments
