Your Role With Us: The Orthopedic/Joint Replacement Center of Excellence RN cares holistically for each patient and their family. We provide care for patients with fractures, orthopedic trauma, and elective orthopedic surgeries, and have an extremely successful and busy total hip and knee joint replacement program. Salem Health was the first hospital in Oregon to achieve Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification for both hip and knee replacements, and has maintained certification throughout each subsequent recertification cycle. Care is provided following evidence-based clinical pathways, and in close collaboration with therapy services, medical providers, care managers and other ancillary services.
