Our research focuses on identifying pathological mechanisms and developing therapeutics for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a complex neurodegenerative disease that destroys high-resolution central vision in over 50 million older adults. The candidate will join an interdisciplinary team of scientists to evaluate novel therapeutic targets in mouse models of disease. This is a full-time position ideal for applicants interested in developing mouse models of disease to evaluate pathology and potential drug candidates.
