Job Title: Training Specialist II (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Location: North Chicago, IL 60085 (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Description: Assure that employees are trained on time by assigning appropriate required curriculum for individual employees. Gather data and report training metrics to management. May require other training responsibilities as directed. This individual must be able to work independently as well as with others. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and follow-up skills needed. Must be able to work under timelines and ensure that training is performed within target dates. An error can cause compliance issues in such that if an employee is not trained on time or has not been adequately trained, the area can receive audit observations. What are the top 3-5 skill requirements should this person have? Intermediate Excel experience: Understand Excel functions, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP Ability to analyze a problem and determine resolution: Answer questions regarding training courses assigned and due Assign training in LMS and follow up with users via email/Teams - using skills learned and experience (as it builds) What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification? Background in LMS (ComplianceWire) administration a plus but not required What type of environment is this person working in? Team setting with work received via ticket requests, team mailbox or projects assigned by Team Lead Does this position offer the ability to work remotely on a regular basis or is it an on-site role? If remote opportunity exists, what are the options (i.e. 1 day remote, 4 days on site)? Position is 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. In the beginning we would ask to match days with the team lead, as proven knowledge and understanding is demonstrated, can choose what days will be remote. Qualifications: High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred. Knowledge and understanding of training in a regulated environment desired. 4-7 years of experience.
