Job Overview

The Aftermarket Marketing Manager is responsible for achieving Aftermarket sales revenue and profit margin targets set by the company. This role also focuses on delivering world-class Aftermarket support for the Loading Business Unit (EMS/EWL).

Key Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement Aftermarket sales strategies for Loading Equipment in both new and existing markets.



  • Lead and manage a team of regional Parts Marketing Professionals.



  • Utilize the 4P's of marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) to enhance parts offerings, including scheduling and implementing Voice of the Customer(VOC) projects, creating training materials and technical manuals, and developing promotional literature and product rollout plans.



  • Represent the Loading Equipment Aftermarket team in the development of Global and Regional Customer agreements, acting as a liaison with all surface mining divisions to ensure Aftermarket representation.



  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to address product quality issues, safeguarding product reputation and driving sales across all product lines.



  • Gather VOC feedback on aftermarket parts and services to develop new offerings, including product and service upgrades



  • Educate and train the field sales force, delivering product presentations at customer sites.



  • Conduct GEMBA visits to understand customer pain points and develop programs aimed at reducing total operating costs (TOC).



  • Drive cross-functional activities to improve end-customer satisfaction, focusing on key performance drivers such as on-time delivery, market competitiveness, training, and technical information.



  • Collaborate across regions to deliver regular reporting on Aftermarket KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance.



Qualifications/Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.



  • At least five years of sales or marketing experience in the construction or mining industry, equipment supply, or dealership environments.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.



  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex technical situations, identify root causes, and lead resolution efforts.



  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.



  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.



  • Flexibility to work in a global business environment with non-standard work schedules as needed.



Preferred Qualifications


  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent).



  • Experience leading global teams or working within a global business environment.



  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.



  • Knowledge of ERP systems or CRM platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).



  • Multilingual proficiency, especially in languages relevant to global markets.



  • Proven success in developing Aftermarket strategies and offerings to enhance customer satisfaction and increase market share.



Travel Requirements


  • This role requires up to 50% travel, typically for one week at a time. On rare occasions, travel may extend beyond one week.
