Requirements for consideration:

Perfusionist 2

• Bachelor's Degree in a medical/science field or Perfusion technology and completion of a perfusionist certificate
• Three years of relevant clinical experience or documented competency in required clinical skills and administration contribution.
• Training in complex aortic procedures including thoracoabdominal, complete arch repairs with circulatory arrest and cerebral perfusion.
• Training in VAD device assembly, operation, troubleshooting and transport.
• Or documented competency in required clinical skills and administration contributions.
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist required upon start.
• Basic Life Support from AHA required upon start.

Perfusionist 3

• Bachelor's Degree in a medical/science field or Perfusion technology.
• Completion of a perfusionist certificate
• Five years of relevant clinical experience or documented competency in required clinical skills and administration contribution.
• Training in pediatric cardiopulmonary bypass and pediatric ECMO.
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist required upon start.
• Basic Life Support from AHA required upon start.

Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• You will operate extracorporeal equipment for surgical procedures.
• To help achieve our mission, you will provide cardiopulmonary bypass set-up, disassembly and maintenance for various surgical procedures (e.g. CABG, valve repair/replacements, VAD insertions, heart and lung transplants, non-complex aortic procedures and minimally invasive procedures).
• Collaborating with internal teams for maintenance on Perfusion equipment while adhering to safety guidelines is of vital importance.
• Participating in routine responsibilities related to the daily operations of the Perfusion department while maintaining professional requirements is expected.
• Other duties as assigned.
