Acts as Chief of Timing and Calculations for USSS/FIS sanctioned events. Is responsible for the accuracy and precision of all timing data. Is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all types timing equipment and the wiring system. Is responsible for the training, education, and scheduling of the timing staff. Assists in all other aspects of event/race production as needed. Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent experience. Computer literate, highly organized, accurate, precision and a strong math background a must. Ability to effectively communicate with race officials, coaching staff and racers. Knowledge of Split Second Timing programs, race procedures and regulations and experience in this field. Good skiing or snowboarding skills required. Ability to do general repairs on timing equipment and an electronics background. Snowmobile experience preferred. Knowledge of race procedures and regulations. USSS membership, official's license, T & C certified. (Proper training, license and certification can be obtained once hired.)
