Position Summary Under direction of the Operations Coordinator, the Ambassador is responsible for helping transform the lives of our homeless residents by ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, performing light maintenance and housekeeping, assist with intake process and front desk responsibilities. There are three shifts including some with weekend time. Exact duties vary by shift. Specific Duties Responsibilities
Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift to 25 lbs. Minimum Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Education
High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
Greet visitors, and interact with clients and other staff members in a courteous, professional, respectful manner. (preferred)
Basic computer skills. (required) Experience in or basic knowledge of mental health, homelessness and/or addictions fields preferred. (required) Licenses & Certifications
Driver's License (required)
