SCOPE OF WORK(INTERN):The Financial Capabilities internwillsupport the IRC in NJ'sFinancial Capabilitiesprogram.This program aims to increase the financial literacy of participants, provide them with financial coaching and access to low-interest loans. This program aims to empower participantsto becomeself-sufficient through classes that better help them maintain their finances.The Financial Coaching intern will support the program by providing financial coaching and counseling services to program participants while also coordinating monthly financial education workshops for all IRC clients.The intern will assist clients withlearning about U.S. financial institutions and systems, banking, credit, budgeting, taxes, and other financial literacy topics.Thisunpaid positionis open to current college students, graduate students, andpostgraduatestudents with course credit available.
