Short Description

Accountable for the management of clinical and business operations of assigned sites, including the delivery of quality clinical services, improving patient experience, materials management, , software implementations, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, environment of care, and facility management, making themselves or designee available after hours for emergent issues such as facility or operational issues due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Lead projects (using Lean, Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies) from the chartering phase through to control and transition back to sponsors and process owners, delivering cost savings, quality improvement, service / safety improvements for the health system.
Work to complete assigned projects within agreed upon timeframes while identifying and escalating any risks, mitigation plans and constraints.
Work closely with champions, sponsors, stakeholders, analytics, and IT staff to create tactics, approach, and timeline for projects, focusing on clinical / business process improvements.
Enhance the understanding of project /program through interactions with physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
Researches and implements innovative methodologies to address operational process redesign for assigned projects.


Experience Required

1 to 3 years' experience must be improvement science (i.e.: Lean Six Sigma, PDSA etc.) related


Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare process improvement required
