POSITION SUMMARY

Ticket Scanners are responsible for ensuring every ticket or season pass is validated each time the guest rides the lift. This involves engaging with and providing a first-class mountain adventure for each and every guest, communicating clearly and making split second decisions to ensure proper ticket validation. This is a seasonal position, paid at $20.00/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Ensure RFID gate reads guests passes
  • Assist with the orchestration, set up, and breakdown of maze
  • Open and close pinch points as needed for maximum traffic flow
  • Be aware of all ticket types and prices
  • Assist and respond to guest inquiries
  • Must have current information about the mountain and events
  • Ability to troubleshoot RFID gates and tablet equipment


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 14 years of age or older
  • Able to work outside for long periods of time in inclement weather
  • Reliable transportation to/from work
  • Must be able to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate and problem solve independently
  • Must be comfortable working with electronic equipment


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
