Job Summary

Accountabilities

• Accesses and completes clinical risk assessment tools and determines level of care for clients.
• Provides outcome-based therapy that targets clients' presenting issues and symptoms.
• Develops client treatment plan to achieve outcomes and goals.
• Refers appropriately and works in a collaborative relationship with other community providers to provide consultation and continuum of care for clients.
• Completes required paperwork for and attends weekly supervision with a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibility

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

Master's degree in Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

Licensed Professional Counselor Intern (LPC-I) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (LMFT-I)

Other Required Skills and Experience

Must have passed the National Board for Counselors or Marriage and Family Therapists. Ability to evaluate client's clinical condition. Group and individual counseling skills.
