Your role at Baxter

Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of business objectives and achievement of desired organizational culture

What you'll be doing

  • Drives overall implementation of plans and strategies, continually monitors effectiveness

  • Consults with management on a variety of HR and business-related issues, both strategically and operationally

  • Continually assesses the effectiveness of the organization's business model and organization dynamics and leads efforts to realign/refocus as needed

  • Drives organization wide talent planning initiatives (in partnership with L&D) including profiling, assessment, calibration, development planning and succession planning

  • Partner with the Senior Leadership team to drive effective organizational alignment and processes to enable strong partnerships with key functions.

  • Provide executive coaching and development to senior leaders.

  • Drive an effective reward and recognition strategy that reinforces the culture and behaviors.

  • Develop and implement measurement systems to determine the impact of HR programs.

  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles

  • Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

What you'll bring

  • Bachelors' Degree required; MBA or Master's degree in Human Resources preferred

  • At least 5 years of HR professional experience, at least 2 years in a generalist role, global HR experience desired

  • Health Care, R&D, or High Technical equipment background preferred

  • Focused action and execution, ability to drive operational excellence, promote collaboration, and communicate effectively.

  • Strong project management skills and results orientation

  • History of delivering results

  • Excellent communication and listening skills

  • Solid knowledge of HR strategies, practices and policies

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 - $143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
