The Customer Project Planner coordinates maintenance operations, assigning resources and contractors based on workload, skills, and production needs. Balancing priorities, you'll ensure smooth communication and troubleshoot technical issues, while enhancing preventative maintenance and workflow processes. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, ensuring efficiency and safety across the site.

What you'll do:

- Assigns maintenance resources and external contractors to Work Requests as they are received based on current workload, resource availability, skills required, developmental opportunities, and production demands

- Coordinates and schedules work to be done by Maintenance & Calibration resources and external contractors in conjunction with Operations and functional groups across the site; manages multiple concurrent and shifting priorities with flexible resource management strategies; effectively communicates plans and changes with all parties involved

- Troubleshoots technical problems encountered with industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, and facility systems to help triage incoming work requests for appropriate resource assignment and the remedial work required

- Shares responsibility to procure material required for maintenance repair work; kits material together for maintenance technicians to take to the job site to perform necessary repairs

- Coordinates and assists team subject-matter experts with identifying, improving, and documenting preventative maintenance activities for production and facility equipment

- Produces, maintains, and reports out Maintenance-related Key Performance Indicators to help display current workloads, Work Request statuses, team challenges, and areas of opportunity

- Continually develops and enhances Maintenance team work order processes, KPIs tracking system, and report-out process to help improve service level to internal customers

- Facilitates and coordinates implementation and commissioning activities for facilities & maintenance projects

- Monitors and reviews the work of sub-contractors/vendors to ensure they conform to company standards and defined service agreements

- Ensure all applicable health & safety requirements are followed and reports/addresses any unsafe practices/conditions immediately

- Carries out additional projects and assignments as required

Position Requirements:

- Considerable knowledge of facility systems and complex production equipment/machines

- At least 3 years of related maintenance, planning and project management experience

- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills

- Working knowledge of computer systems and software utilized for maintenance activities

- Ability to input & manage data within software systems for tracking and performance capture

- Utilizes a company-provided radio and/or cell phone for helping with communication across the team and site

- Holds daily 8am stand-up meetings with maintenance resources to engage the team with the planned work for the day
