Pediatric Acute Care Cardiology, Inpatient
Job Summary The Pediatric Acute Care Cardiology, Inpatient provider will be working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team within the UT Southwestern Pediatric Cardiology division at Children's Health in Dallas to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients on our inpatient cardiology unit. These patients present with a wide variety of congenital and acquired heart disease. This position will require a high degree of critical thinking and clinical expertise in working with pediatric patients in the inpatient acute care cardiology setting. The APP is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, consultation, and health promotion and care coordination for patients and their families. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in a clinical environment. The incumbent may be exposed to body fluids and infectious diseases.
