The Center for Alzheimer's and Neurodegenerative Diseases is recruiting a faculty member at the assistant professor level on the tenure-accruing track to work within a multidisciplinary research environment focused on the mechanisms of disease linked to amyloid-forming proteins. It is especially desired that the candidate will have expertise in the biochemistry of protein folding, and deep knowledge of the use of iPSC-derived neurons for high throughput genetic screening, especially as it pertains to pathology of the tau protein. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
