RESEARCH SOFTWARE ENGINEER Job ID JR101324 Date posted 04/01/2025 The National Synchrotron Light Source-II (NSLS-II) at Brookhaven National Laboratory is seeking exceptional candidates for The Data Science and Systems Integration (DSSI) Program. This role resides in the Data Acquisition and Detectors (DAD) group, within DSSI, working to develop high-level data acquisition tools. This ranges from integrating scientific detectors with the control system to integration with the NSLS-II data management systems. This role will support both operations of current NSLS-II beamlines and the development of the next generation of beamlines from the earliest stages of development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Brookhaven Laboratory is committed to providing fair, equitable and competitive compensation. The full salary range for this position is $101,200.00 - $184,000.00 yearly. Salary offers will be commensurate with the final candidate's qualification, education and experience and considered with the internal peer group.
