Job Summary:
Responsible for setting up and operating injection mold machines to cast product from raw material to final product, follow set production schedules, prepare required production documentation, and perform the overall inspection of parts.
Job Duties:
- Operate different types of injection mold machines.
- Load existing programs onto machines.
- Make adjustments to molding parameters by using necessary measuring equipment to product accurate parts.
- Have good understanding of various types of tooling used in molding and their proper application.
- Conduct basic preventative maintenance and rub basic diagnostics.
- Conduct troubleshooting for basic symptoms on a variety of machines.
- Ability to remove barrel on a variety of machines.
- Remove and install mold bases.
- Remove and change oil and oil filters on a variety of machines.
- Complete production and inspection documentation.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 7 years of related experience, preferred.
- Know basic math concepts.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to set up, operate, and program molding machines.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and basic diagnostics on mold machines.
Knowledge of barrel removal, mold, and oil changes for mold machines.
