JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The School of Visual Arts (SoVA) in the College of Arts and Architecture (A&A) is looking for friendly and professional people to serve as receptionist and general office assistant. You will be detail-oriented and organized while providing customer service and performing administrative tasks in a fast-paced and diverse office environment.

The successful candidate's primary duties may include the following:

*Serve as a receptionist for SoVA representing the school in a professional and welcoming manner

*Perform general office tasks including answering the phone, distributing mail, and hanging posters

Required skills and experience include:

* Excellent customer service skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Experience with standard office procedures

* The ability to work with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
