Location: Medical Center - Fort WorthDepartment: PsychiatryShift: Third Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours: 24Summary: The Behavioral Care Partner/Psychiatric Aide assumes the caretaker role for psychiatric patients on psychiatric or non-psychiatric units such as medical/surgical floors, PICU, or the Emergency Department. Responsible for providing basic care to patients with mental health disorders or developmental disabilities under the direct supervision of an RN/LVN. Our ideal candidate has a strong dedication to providing quality mental health care, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is able to handle stressful situations with sensitivity and professionalism. Behavioral Care Partners assist patients with activities of daily living, maintain a safe environment, and help manage any harmful behaviors while delivering competent and skilled care to patients. This position will deliver care with a team-oriented approach with an emphasis on good customer relations. Hours: 6:30pm - 7:00am 2 days per week
