Excellent opportunity for a Hospitalist interested in practicing in Kansas City on a PRN basis!
• This is a traditional hospitalist program with full-time physicians working 7 days on and 7 days off, 12-hour shifts. The PRN physician will take admissions from the ED, direct admissions from outside providers and consults from specialists.
• This is a day-time, per diem only position. Hours are 7am-7pm.
• Nights are covered by NP.
• Daytime NPs assist with admissions and discharges, allowing you time to round.
• Large team dedicated to discharges assists with placement.
• Flexible call schedule limits admission times and gets you home early on most days.
• This can be a hospital employed or 1099 independent provider position.
• Fair and equal distribution of patients and work matched with a competitive hourly rate makes this a great opportunity!
• The job will require the candidate to obtain a Missouri medical license and DEA.
• Must be board certified and willing to become adacemic faculty for internal medicine residency program
