In the role of Water/Wastewater EIT , we'll count on you to: * Assist the Senior Engineers with site studies, site designs, construction documentation preparation and graphic presentation * Prepare plans and specifications for water pipelines * Prepare plans and specifications for wastewater facilities and treatment systems * Write first drafts of technical memoranda * Read and understand technical manuals * Prepare spreadsheet calculations * Perform construction cost estimates * Perform field work including o inspection of concrete and steel facilities o report preparation * Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects * Perform other duties, as needed Preferred Qualifications MS EIT preferred, those hired without an EIT will be called a W/WW Coordinator and expected to obtain EIT for career progression Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience Microsoft Office experience Must be able to work in a team environment An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company. The expected compensation range for this position is $64,260 - $86,940 annually and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
