Primary Responsibilities



  • Water Design, Wastewater Design, Storm Drain Design, Site studies, site designs, plans and specifications, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentation
  • Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage, routine engineering assignments requiring the application of standard techniques and procedures, and complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
  • Work independently on small projects
  • Coordinate with the project leads to implement measures to successfully meet all project goals and objectives
  • Deliver high-quality, technically sound site civil designs


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
  • PE or the ability to obtain
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to the completion of a task
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
  • Leadership and organizational skills


Preferred Qualifications



  • Knowledge of design software such as Autocad, Civil3D, Revit, Microstation, Open Designer, Openflows, etc., and/or software used for analysis such as GeoStudio, SEEPW, HydroCad, StormCad, AutoCad Storm and Sanitary, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, etc.
  • A registered professional civil engineer with active participation in related professional societies
  • Willing to travel throughout the US on an as-needed basis
  • Local Candidate
