The Department of Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is actively recruiting outstanding applicants for a full-time faculty position in the growing interventional pulmonary (IP) program in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Successful candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine, board certified or eligible in pulmonary diseases and critical care and eligible for licensure in California, board certified in interventional pulmonary, interventional pulmonary fellowship trained and have clinical expertise and interest in expanding the clinical footprint of our interventional pulmonary program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional pulmonary procedures, and a passion to expand dedicated interventional pulmonary services and IP fellowship program at Keck Medicine of USC. The position will require inpatient service in consultation, critical care as well as outpatient clinic and procedures at the main Keck site as well as our satellite locations. The faculty will play an active role in our IP fellowship program, multidisciplinary lung cancer program, USC Airway Center, multidisciplinary interstitial lung disease program and our pulmonary transplant programs.

Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is a busy and expanding Division within the USC Keck School of Medicine and collaborates actively with the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Otolaryngology, and other disciplines involved in the care of patients with complex lung disease. Inpatient services include care of critically ill medical, cardiac, neurosurgical and other patients, pulmonary consultation to both medical and surgical patients and advanced procedures, providing outstanding opportunities for teaching, participation in clinical research and care of a diverse patient population in an interactive and collegial environment.

Compensation and academic rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
