Location: Voorhees - 2309 Evesham Road, Suite 101 Employment Type: Employee Employment Classification: Per Diem Time Type: Part time Work Shift: Total Weekly Hours: 40 Additional Locations: Job Information: Summary: Responsible for the treatment, care, and management of outpatients with deficiencies and/or abnormalities of the cardio-respiratory system. Acts as clinical resource for cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and contributes to the overall quality of patient care. Position Responsibilities: * Performs assessment of patients and develops their individual treatment plan of care. * Administers treatments/medications as prescribed by the physician. * Demonstrates competency in all aspects of non-invasive ventilator care. * Teaches and reinforces education on disease process, treatment, and wellness to patient. * Set-up, operate, and maintain medical gas (oxygen) (( * Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to interact/interface with varying computer information management systems in order to document patient care related activities. Required Education: Graduate of an AMA approved program of study in Respiratory Care with an Associate's Degree. Training/Certifications/Licensure: Registered or Registry Eligible as a Respiratory Therapist as determined by the National Board for Respiratory Care. BLS and ACLS required Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care.
