Essential Job Duties
The Department of Business Management at NC State University is currently inviting applications for the position of Non-Tenure Track Faculty Lecturer (part-time) specializing in Finance.
These positions are for either one semester or one year, with the possibility of renewal. Applications will be kept on file for one year in case of future openings.
Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching 1-3 courses in Finance for the BSBA and/or MBA programs. Classes may be held on the main campus in Raleigh, the RTP MBA campus, or potentially during summer school and study abroad programs.
While specific hiring needs for the upcoming academic year are still being determined, courses may include financial modeling, investments, international finance, personal finance, and corporate finance.

Contributing member of the department, College, and University.
Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Requires a master's degree or an equivalent degree in Finance or with a concentration in Finance.
Other Required Qualifications

  • Excellent teaching ability.
  • A commitment to the success of our students and programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree or equivalent in the appropriate field.
  • Experience teaching at the college level.
