An excellent opportunity has opened within Macquarie Asset Management to partner with the fund management, compliance, legal and tax structuring teams to deliver client focused solutions. The team you will be joining provides oversight for the financial operations and accounting that supports the creation, distribution, and servicing of Alternative Investment products to our distribution partners. Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility As a Manager, Alternatives Wealth Fund Management, you will be a key part of the team responsible for financial control, fund and investor reporting, financial operations, and treasury management for Alternative Investment products. You will oversee the audit process, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion. You will provide general accounting support, drive management and corporate reporting, as well as provide thoughtful input to resolve technical accounting issues.
Salary range for this position: $95,000-135,000 per year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility *Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, plus 5-7 years of related work experience, with a mix of public accounting and private sector accounting *Experience in alternative financial services and/or private equity structures with a CPA/CA designation
*Experience in funds registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and/or the Exchange Act of 1934 would be advantageous
*Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously through complex structures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and accustomed to working with a team, both in-person and virtually
*Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to investment accounting
*Significant experience in Microsoft Excel required.
