Primary Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible. Work on rapid prototyping and technology deployment that addresses the Marine Corps' most urgent needs.
Partner with a dynamic team of engineers, project managers, and end-users to define requirements and deliver top-notch solutions that meet mission objectives.
Utilize Java and JavaScript to craft high-performance applications. Your expertise will drive the creation of efficient, scalable, and reliable systems.
Implement algorithms and data structures that ensure software performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and adhere to best practices that maintain the highest development standards.
Identify, debug, and resolve software issues swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to mission operations.
Maintain detailed documentation of development processes and code changes.
Stay current on emerging technologies and continuously improve our capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
Experience with Git (version control) and issue tracking tools such as GitLab and Jira
Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively
