Summary of Job Duties:The Adult Education Paraprofessional is responsible for all aspects of the Adult Education program. Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Greet and guide new clients into the center.
* Checking in students and visitors to the center.
* Answer phones and direct to correct department.
* Answer questions correctly about Adult Education classes, schedule and policies.
* Schedule all students for the TABE test.
* Monitor student's attendance and advise teachers on when students should post-test.
* Schedule all TABE test for students.
* Administer all TABE test for students.
* Schedule all GED ready test for students.
* Administer all GED ready test for students.
* Schedule all GED test.
* Administer and proctor all GED test.
* Performing all student intakes.
* Adding new students to DRC.
* Creating and maintaining student files.
* Entering data accurately into LACES.
* Double-checking data entered by other center personnel.
* Performing recruitment and retention activities.
* Maintaining an accurate call log.
* Assist with classroom functions as needed.
* Work attendance is a must!
* Attend all mandated faculty &state meetings. Qualifications:

Minimum of a High School diploma or GED, associate degrees preferred.
