Summary of Job Duties:The Part-Time Custodian-Facility Assistant shall work under the supervision of the Director of Adult Education and will be responsible for providing general facility support during the daytime hours at the UACCM Adult Education Faulkner County site located in downtown Conway. This position is funded through June 30, 2022

Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Custodial Duties
1.Clean dust and debris resulting from daily activities; empty garbage containers; and sanitize tables and chairs.
2.Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request additional items as necessary. Sweep and vacuum classrooms, hallways, and office areas.
3.Maintain and clean restrooms; keep restrooms supplied with paper products and soaps.
4.Mop floors; clean carpets; and use chemicals for cleaning purposes.

General Office Support Performed Upon Need
5.Greet current and potential students as they enter the UACCM Adult Education Faulkner County facility.
6.Perform general office duties as necessary.
7.Provide support at the receptionist desk when needed.
8.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma orGED.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Work experience is preferred

The successful candidate must have a commitment to working cooperatively with all campus personnel to fulfill the Mission of UACCM, and have the ability to deliver quality customer services.

  • Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

  • Able to move about freely, bend, stretch, reach, stoop, push, and pull.

  • Able to tolerate harsh cleaning chemicals(supplies and appropriate protectivegear is provided)

  • Able to communicateeffectively both orally and in writing

  • Able to read and comprehenddirections and warnings in English

  • Able to organize and prioritizework to maximize productivity

  • Proficient in the use of computers and basic office equipment

  • Able to work with a diverse student and employee population
