HANDLER-RECEIVING - 3rd Shift

We are seeking applicants for Receiving/Warehouse on 3rd shift (1 Opening) in our Akron, OH facility. Salary is $22.00 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Ensure that product is moved from truck to staging area in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Pick and stage orders.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Able to pass pre-employment background and drug test.
• Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.

• Previous Forklift/Shipping experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.
• Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
