Finance Internship 5/2025-8/2025

The Bimbo Bakeries USA Internship offers a paid opportunity that affords students a remarkable experience to participate in fast-paced, real-world projects designed to further develop strategic project, management, analytical problem solving, and managerial leadership skills. The finance internship is a remote opportunity to support the Corporate Finance Department in performing account analysis, period closes, forecast analysis and category analysis.

Job Summary#LI-JS1

• Support period closes process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results
• Assist with annual planning and forecasting activities including input of data utilizing Hyperion Planning and coordination of assumptions to be used in forecast analytics as well as presentations for leadership
• Prepare reporting detailing changes in the business where results differ from plan / prior year / forecast; including business unit details and overall explanations of variance
• Ability to work across financial functions to complete variance analysis and financial projections
• Responsible for analyzing monthly results & supporting preparation of financial reporting & forecast packages utilizing various system applications
• Work with finance leads and cross-functional team member regularly to update financial forecasts
• Assist in the development of decision support financial modeling and ad hoc reporting as required

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Zero to Two years of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Oracle experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and participate as a team player in a cross-functional environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical, problem solving and accounting skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven, multi-tasking environment
• US residency or Green Card required

Salary Range: $18-20/ hour
