Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned) Mechanical Engineering: Provide support for small and large capital projects for Calpine's existing fleet of natural gas combined and simple cycle power plants. Work in a small group of Calpine mechanical engineers that support these plants and projects performing daily duties typical for the power generation business. Work with outside A/E firms contracted by Calpine to provide engineering services for the troubleshooting, maintenance, design, and configuration management of existing and new power plants.
