The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Maintenance Manager / Deputy Site Manager to oversee the facility operations and maintenance at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC), Edwards, CA.



  • Eight (8) years' experience in maintenance management, maintenance and reliability management with industrial equipment or research facilities.
  • Training in the predominate disciplines: substation maintenance for electrical, vibration institute level 1 or 2 for HVAC, fire protection, and building automation system certification.
  • Knowledge of CMMS, CMMS KPI creation, Microsoft Office, charting, with three (3) years' experience, and Certified Professional Maintenance Manager or any certification from Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP).
  • Knowledge and application of lean tools such as: statistical tools, root cause analysis, failure mode & effect analysis, and statistics.



*Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.
