The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of DevOps processes and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, and operations. They will be responsible for working with developers and operations teams to ensure that software is built, deployed and monitored in a reliable and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop and implement DevOps processes and tools
  • Work with developers and operations teams to ensure that software is built, deployed and maintained in a reliable and efficient manner
  • Automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency
  • Manage platform infrastructure and application deployments
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends


SRE Responsibilities:



  • Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
  • Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
  • Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applications



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps
  • Strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, and operations
  • Experience with Git and resolving build issues
  • Experience with enforcing test coverage
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform


Additional Qualifications:



  • Experience with configuring cloud services such as AWS Kafka MSK, S3
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with coordinating between multiple teams to resolve build issues
