| GENERAL DESCRIPTION 
 The Project Paralegal provides support to Counsel managing legal matters and documentation relating to EDPR North America DG LLC's projects and operations. Main accountabilities: 
 
 
 Perform assigned substantive legal workPrepare drafts of documents including confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements, construction services agreements, work orders, change orders, and other project-related agreementsPerform initial review of agreements received from third parties and assists counsel with their completionCarefully follow instructions and proofreads work before sending to internal or external partiesAssist counsel with EPC/BOP contracts, including preparing exhibits and gathering informationAssist with requests for proposals (RFPs) and other procurement processesAssist counsel with acquisition and divestiture transactions, both pre- and post-closing, including organization and review of due diligence documents and preparation of data roomAssist with financing transactions, including preparation of disclosure schedules, closing checklists, and similar documentsPrepare for transaction closings by assembling documents, creating checklists, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring distribution of closing sets to Compliance and other pertinent partiesMaintain awareness of incoming work requests and contracts, their status, and need for follow-up by Project CounselMaintain spreadsheet for tracking incoming work requests and contracts for Project Counsel and provides reports of tracking information as requestedFacilitate execution of documents by appropriate parties in accordance with specified delegations of authorityProvide administrative assistance with document preparation, file maintenance, and updating of the legal document forms libraryAdditional duties as required

 Bachelor's degree in a related field6+ years of experience in the energy, corporate, or finance area of a law firm or performing in-house legal services in a corporate environmentParalegal certificate preferredProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 and Adobe Acrobat software
