Job Duties
Shift: Mon-Fri, 9:00am - 5:30pm w/ rotating on-call. Will travel to different UTSW sites w/in DFW and surrounding areas. Monitors all onsite and off-campus Point of Care testing performed by non-laboratory personnel. Assures quality testing and accurate test performance through operator training, competency assessment, equipment monitoring, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, quality control review, patient test result review, critical value notification, and proficiency testing. Takes appropriate corrective action when errors are detected. This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code *51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
