Summer 2025 Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Internship - San Antonio, TX

We are seeking a motivated Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the integration of design and construction processes through virtual technologies. As a VDC Intern, you will work closely with our project teams to support the development and implementation of VDC strategies.

Assist in the creation and management of 3D models and digital representations of construction projects using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or BIM tools.
• Support the coordination of design and construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Participate in virtual collaboration meetings, contributing to discussions on design optimization and construction methodologies.
• Help analyze project data to identify potential issues and propose solutions to enhance project efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in virtual design and construction.
• Assist in preparing presentations and reports for project stakeholders.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a virtual environment.
• Previous experience or coursework related to virtual design and construction is a plus.
