Summary

Signode, the Transit Packaging division of Crown Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK), has its global headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Signode is a global leader in transit packaging, with over 80 manufacturing facilities across six continents and more than 7,000 workers worldwide.

We seek a skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust identity and access management administration, automation, orchestration, and programming background to enhance our IAM services. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions to ensure secure and efficient access to our systems and data.

The Signode Cloud Services is a global team leveraging a hybrid operating model of on-premises and cloud-based solutions. The Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Orchestration team operates within this structure and is responsible for all Identity and IT automation services. These services include automated onboarding, offboarding, and modifying users and computers within directory services (AD, Azure AD, Entra ID). CI Integrations, Inventory automation, and multi-tool API Integration capability through code. Also, oversee the underlying processes to organize (OU Structure, Policies) and connect with these services (LDAP, SSO, MFA, SAML, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the account management standard
  • Finetune, improve, and support Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft Identity Manager, and Privileged Identity Management within the organization
  • Facilitate and support IAM integration to business applications and third parties, including Signal Sign-On enablement and management, including developing integrations
  • Perform regular patching and hardening for the IAM infrastructure
  • Develop automation and integrations to ensure efficient operations
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as processes and standard operating procedures for the IAM domain
  • Lead IT Orchestration throughout Cloud Services IT
  • Develop integrations and programs to help align and improve tool capabilities from ITSM, Patching, CI
  • Collaborate with other application development team members on integration opportunities
  • Be the subject matter expert in the Signode design of our next-generation IT IAM and Cloud Services Automation
  • Engage with and advise stakeholders within the business and IT on Identity and Access Management to IT Automation best practices
  • Identify and champion opportunities for IT Automation services that add value to the business and reduce the risk to the organization; you will be the subject matter expert in all orchestration and IAM principles and technologies
  • Areas of responsibility include automating processes and documenting SOP instructions for the Operations team on account onboarding, account termination, account modifications, access and e-mail group management, and computer onboarding and offboarding management interlinked to the device asset lifecycle standard
  • Implements connection services between Directory Services and HR (Dayforce, Concur, etc.) and App Teams (AX, D365, Cloud Services, etc.)
  • Drafts and maintains the standards around the products of ownership
  • Actively engages in the change management process, understanding the risk and impact of any changes to our underlying customer base
  • Ensures all systems under ownership are stable, secure, and well-maintained
  • Proposes new ideas to simplify, standardize, and strategically align with the corporate goal of One Signode and better supportability
  • Acts responsibly in the management of operational costs
  • Creates development plan for short, medium, and long-term goals to achieve strategic objectives
  • Ensuring department objectives are met by regularly interacting across functional areas, including senior management or executives as needed
  • Accountable for implementing SOX-compliant changes following the change management process defined to provide governance of Infrastructure Operations
  • Participates in SOX audits, working closely with various supporting departments
  • Remain current on industry trends and strategic development in technology
  • Adheres to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Position Qualifications

Education: Bachelors or Master's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering or equivalent work experience

  • 6+ years in a hands-on Identity Management technology role or similar equivalence
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in hands-on development with the following languages (SQL, Powershell, VBScript, Active Server Pages, Lotus Script, Formula, Dynamic HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, Javascript, JQuery, Node.js, JSON, XML)
  • Additional programming or scripting languages a plus (Python, Java, C, C++, Perl)
  • Certifications in Azure, Microsoft, Identity Management, Programming, or Orchestration are a plus
  • Proficient at managing Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments
  • Versed with ITIL and ISO best practices and the implementation of such practices in the Identity space
  • Proven ability to successfully participate on a globally diverse team and achieve collective goals and objectives
  • Experience with automation of processes
  • Strong understanding of Identity within Cloud Environment (Azure) and Private Cloud (SaaS) environments
  • Articulate advanced technical concepts (written and oral) to customers, peers, and management with minimal oversight
  • Responsible for assessing and recognizing environmental risks to the company and notifying management if such cases should arise
  • Experience in managing outside vendors who serve outsourced roles in the department
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and best practices
  • Some travel is required
